monocolour/monoability/monoregion

So I saw a post where a monohoenn idea was suggested.
I think we could do this for all regions (monoregion).
We could also do the same for colo(u)rs and for abilities.
For monocolor a rule could be that shinies are forbidden.

Monocolour is something that could be beneficial. We get a lot of requests for all kinds of mono-based tiers and obviously want to add what people suggest but it is based on demand. Regions aren't too hard as the mod for it is in, monocolor maybe more difficult as I am not sure whether colour is actually a property (pika or someone correct me?) in the code.

Monoability I guess could work, wouldn't be too hard I don't think just a little check of six Pokemon. The issue with it is working out what ability people are using but then again we could work that out easy enough.

I will do a poll later on when we have more people to see what regions people would want but we have several other things to do (one is new and includes redoing the client) so they take up a lot of time - and usually, we don't have much. Will look into it though and I am sure others will respond with thoughts.

I think Monogen would be better than just monoheonn, monokanto and so on. Adds more variety to battle styles and strategies.
Monoability could be interesting original tier that i would like to see test drive on the chat. Monocolor is another tier that i would like to see showcased more on chat.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the monoability idea. I agree that the monocolor would be good, as well as the monogen/monoregion. I would play monogen3/monohoenn tiers constantly
