Halloween Week on Frost

Halloween is the first holiday on Frost and we wanted to add some special events and changes to the server to match the holiday. Frost has always been aimed at keeping fresh in ideas and giving users things to do to get active in the server and as a community.

Changes:
- piiiikachuuu has changed the theme for Frost to feature a more Halloween-esque theme with Gen 6 Pokemon as the mascots in the theme, but still keeping that Frost touch with Froslass behind the chat.
- A new command has been added which is /hollowme. A simple command to give you a free custom symbol, well one of three that are randomly chosen. These will come in as part of events over the next week.
- New intro when you join just to give a more Hallow'd welcome to the server.

They are just a couple of the changes that are easily seen on the server. With Halloween coming soon we have also updating to the latest Gen 6 version straight from the Official server (many thanks to Official staff for their work on implementing Gen 6) so expect to see many Gen 6 based tournaments and Poke's floating around.

What's coming up?
We want to host many different theme'd events that will reward with our Frost currency, and some direct prizes. We will aim to host these throughout the week with some more larger events being on the weekend of 1-3 of November hosted by the staff. 
Tournaments themed towards Halloween will definitely appear, with Mono Colour tournaments with Halloween colours being only ones allowed, Monotype tournaments of the more spooky types, tournaments featuring around what custom symbol you got through /hollowme at the time of the event and others!

A lot of the tournaments we host will be Gen 5, this will mean that most users will have teams ready and available for them. However, many will be Gen 6 so if you don't have a team already be sure to make one ready!

I'm loving this Halloween theme. Can't help but wonder what you have in store for Christmas, because (at least where I live), we get snow during Christmas, and that kinda connects to the "frosty" theme of the Frost server.
