Point System Implemented

The Point System has been developed and implemented with thanks to our friendly neighbourhood piiiikachuuu!

The Point system is in place to reward players for their interaction with the different areas of tournaments, from general official tournaments in lobby to the larger weekly tournaments such as the battle of the leagues tournaments and others! Make a great suggestion that we implement into the server and you will be rewarded with points.

What for?

Well Points are something which are going to be expanded on and improved over time to ensure we give the best selection of rewards that you can trade your points for with the list below naming just a few:

• Promotion to Voice
  
• Custom Avatar
  
• Custom Symbol
  
• Trainer Card
  

And many others that can be found on the Prizes and Points page of the Frost website! The shop itself does not contain all these as they are being gradually implemented but if you meet the point sum before it is added to show, you should message an Admin to check!

Balance?

We will be watching the growth of the system and how points are earned and how they are spent and try to tweak where needed to ensure that points don't become too hard or too easy to get, after all, you want your reward to be an achievement that not everyone has, but you don't want to spend week after week grinding for points. Tournaments have been altered from our oldest alpha money system so that only official rooms reward points to the winners as well.

How to use?

Currently there are a few commands which you can use, notably being /points or /points [username] which allow you to check out your balance of points and also the balance of someone else's points - if you are voice or higher you can also broadcast these to share your stash, or show off a friends.

You can also use /getpoints which shows you some information about the system and certain informational parts. And also for the more interesting part is to use /shop and then /buy to check out the items in the shop and also buy them if you fancy it!

What trainer card? We never removed any trainer cards I don't think unless Brittle removed them.

Way back when (pre-tournament commands lol), I had a trainer card. Either a server refresh or something wiped it off... :/

Ahh right, I believe that we had a server backdate in the code due to some errors and/or BrittleWind (another Dev) removed several commands.

As unfortunate as it is there isn't much we can do sorry :/

Of course it's Brit's fault. I hope his cat kicks him in the balls at some point this week lol
