Ninjask's OU PokeBank team Empty Ninjask's OU PokeBank team

Not sure if it goes here, but I need teambuilding help. This is my current PokeBank OU team, with mixed results as to its effectiveness. Three Pokemon I definitely want to keep, and the other three are iffy.

Paarthunax (Charizard) @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Punch
- Thunder Punch

I want to keep Zard X. Plain and simple. After 1 DDance boost, he can OHKO most pokemon. fire punch and dragon claw for STAB, thunder punch for bulky water types. People have suggested Equake in the past, but it doesn't get the boost from Tough Claw. (and if it does, this will likely change when the error is noticed.) I'll probs keep him unchanged, no matter what anyone says. ;D

Coqui (Toxicroak) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Drain Punch
- Swords Dance
- Substitute

I like Croak because he is very Anti-Metagame. He is another sure-keep. this moveset is tried and true for countering most threats, especially normal types, caught-off-guard-psychics, and anything that I can setup on. Because of the sweeps under his belt, I likely will ignore any comments about him too.

SwordAndBoard (Aegislash) @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Shadow Sneak
- Gyro Ball
- King's Shield
- Swords Dance

Aegislash is my last definite-keep pokemon. He is my favorite Gen VI pokemon, and functions well as both a sweeper and an occasional psuedo-wall. He has many sweeps under his belt for me already. His moveset is kinda iffy, but I like this one because gyro ball can do real damage with the right boosts, and shadow sneak has priority, while swords dance and King's Shield are necessary in any real Aegi set.

Spin Cycle (Rotom-Wash) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Trick
- Thunderbolt

First iffy Pokemon. Rotom-W. I like him for being a nice special wall, his ability to ruin pranksters with Trick, and ground immunity. I gave him specs instead of the usual scarf because I am often f***ed by giving a physical pokemon with high attack and medium speed by giving him the boost. The only move in the set that I don't know about is T-Bolt, it was filler.

Return to Sender (Espeon) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Stored Power
- Calm Mind
- Reflect
- Light Screen

I LOVE Espeon. I find Magic Bounce as a HUGE benefit to any team, as a simple Magic Bounce switch in at the right time can change the entire match (especially with all the ariados sticky webs). Espeon is mainly support with Reflect and Light Screen, but after a few Calm Minds, Espeon can sweep an entire team (provided dark types are ko'd) with Stored Power, as a Fast Special Wall/Sweeper, with moderate Physical defense.

Dovahkiin (Clefable) @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 64 SDef / 252 HP / 192 Def
Modest Nature
- Soft-Boiled
- Cosmic Power
- Moonblast
- Ice Beam

I wanted a fairy type. But I hate most of them. I have found, however, that Clefable can switch in on a beefed-up dragon type, force a switch, and start using Cosmic Power much like a Sigilyph. This EV spread listed gives Clefable near-equal defense and special defense, decent hp, and i threw in life orb for a chance to do decent damage. Ice beam is my meh move here, but I have no other pokemon using ice moves, and ice is good for dragonslaying, (ie, DOVAHKIIN).

Weaknesses of this Team:
Talonflame. I have no rock types, so beating him is up to chance.
Mega Pinsir. Priority wrecks me, but specifically Pinsir is a pain, as I only have Aegislash as a physical wall.
Ditto. Ditto has no real counter, but I find him especially hard to beat with this team. Mega Zard X is an excellent Impostor target.

Rotom-W is an ok Talonflame counter. If you desperately need a Talonflame counter, try Aggron. Something else to consider would be Scarf'd Terrakion, but idk if it would survive. I feel like Thundurus might work too, Therian Forme or not.

(Also you got the section right)

So... This is my revised team that I have settled on:

Brick...House (Skarmory) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 232 Def / 252 HP / 24 Spd
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Roost
- Whirlwind
Skarm is a beast, He single-handedly wrecks all the weaknesses of my previous team. Nice physical defense, only real weakness is special attackers and things with Taunt.

Coqui (Toxicroak) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 248 HP / 8 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
- Drain Punch
So many people suggested scrapping Toxicroak, but I am serious when I say it is an effective Pokemon. No changes were made.

OP-rotean (Greninja) @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Surf
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot
Greninja is the best special sweeper of this generation. he can ohko pretty much anything it can land a super-effective hit on. Me likey.

Return to Sender (Espeon) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Stored Power
- Reflect
- Light Screen
Another Pokemon that I made no changes to. Waaay to effective.

Ugh. This Guy (Sableye) @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Def
Calm Nature
- Toxic
- Will-O-Wisp
- Taunt
- Recover
Sableye is a bitch. He wrecks physical teams, and can kill anything to bulky to take out with other pokemon. Taunt is nice also.

Genwunner (Charizard) @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Punch
- Thunder Punch
Zard X is still the focus of the team. No changes here either.

Weaknesses: Only real issue is electric pokemon and my lack of immunity to them, but if i Can mega-evolve Zard X early, that is a weak issue.
